About
Built because no app could say why.
I’m Daniel Treacy. I run every day — the streak is past 600 days — and before that I raced as a cyclist and a swimmer. I live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, where the dew point decides more races than the course does.
Kovr started with one parkrun that felt far harder than it should have, a few days after climbing Montville. My watch had every number: HRV, sleep, load, pace. None of them said why. The answer was sitting across three apps and a weather report, and no one was putting it together.
So Kovr puts it together. It reads what your watch or ring already writes to Apple Health, adds what you ate and drank and the temperature and dew point you ran in, and says in one sentence what changed — and what to do about it tonight. It doesn’t replace Garmin or Strava. It sits next to them and does the job they don’t.
How we write
Everything on the blog and in the free tools cites the research it rests on, says plainly where the evidence is thin, and gets revisited when devices or findings change. When we get something wrong we fix it and date the fix.
